TESTIMONIALS

"I am so grateful to have worked with Richard doing inner child work. Shortly after the session I had the experience of someone snapping at me. Normally I would have taken this personally or it would have highlighted the anger that I have suppressed for so long but it didn’t. It was as if their energy went right through me, it didn’t stick as it did in the past. Amazing! I found Richard to be a very kind and caring practitioner to work with. I loved the grounding exercise we did at the start of the session and I found him to be a safe guide helping me to navigate through such a tender time in my life."

"Thank you for doing that, Richard! That is actually helpful in making me feel calmer—AND it served to let me know that I should be working on my problem in secret, which is most surely helpful to those close to me!”

I thoroughly enjoyed my session with Richard Thursday! I shared two traits with Richard I have employed most of my life that I’ve managed to work around or adjust my actions to make it work for me. I am now facing several “tasks” simultaneously that will be highly distressing if I stay in that old rut. And it’s possible I won’t pull them off if I don’t do something differently!

1) I am “pressure-prompted” and have been very successful in always making things happen on time, but not in a systematic measured approach doing a bit at a time. I have preferred to do things in a “big chunk” and not piecemeal. It works well for single projects but not as well for juggling several at once with similar deadlines.

2) When I am faced with a task or challenge I am not particularly excited about, I have motivated myself by “avoiding consequences” . This isn’t particularly motivating at times! For things I am excited about, I employ “magnetic attraction” to the feelings of the outcome/environment I will experience.

Richard led me through a tapping exercise that helped reframe a task from “avoiding consequences” to being drawn forward by relishing the results of the completed outcome.

I am quite excited and motivated to make things happen, even setting up scheduled time to do it in pieces🤯

We pinpointed words, feelings and sensations to anchor it as a positive “future memory” I will call on. And outlined some journaling (SOC) to keep it alive and energized.

I am grateful to Richard for his ability to flow with me through this. He actually used techniques for coaching me that I’ve leaned on for years with my own clients. And it’s the first time I’ve been on the receiving side of them. I’m feeling great about this and see myself completing EVERYTHING on time and finding time for golf and friends too!

Cheers!
